It is easy to get around in Jackson Hole and Teton Village with or without a rental car. The public bus service, the START bus, runs 7 days a week from 6am to 10pm, with service all around Jackson Hole and to and from Jackson and Teton Village. Busses run approximately every half hour throughout the day and there are many convenient stops around town. The shuttle bus is free around town and costs up to $3.00 for a ride to Teton Village. The START (Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit) bus is Jackson Hole's convenient and affordable public transportation.

The START system has designed its schedule to be there when you are. From Teton Village to Town, from the neighborhood of Cottonwood Park to St. John's Hospital, the START bus gets you where you want to go. All START buses have bike racks in the summer and ski racks in the winter.

Schedules are found at most Hotels, Motels, Albertson's, Smith's, Town Hall on Pearl Street, at the bus stops, and on the bus. From early morning to late night - the START bus meets your transportation needs. You may also print the schedules below.
