Snow Cat Skiing
Interested in a day in the backcountry without the expense of a heli-ski trip? If so, a snowcat trip may be what you're looking for. Trips typically accommodate up to 10 people and often cover up to 20,000 vertical feet in a day. Grand Targhee Resort provides half and full day trips in the tetons. The snowcat will take you up Peaked Mountain which has 1000 acres and 2400 vertical feet reserved exclusively for snowcat skiing.
