White Pine ski area, near Pinedale Wyoming, offers something for everyone. Downhill skiers and snowboarders will enjoy short lift lines and crowd-free slopes. Cross-country skiers will find miles of free groomed and ungroomed trails that can be accessed right from the White Pine parking area. Trails lead into the Bridger-Teton Forest and Bridger Wilderness area.

White Pine is located 10 miles northeast of Pinedale, Wyoming in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Pinedale has a population of 1,500. Jackson Hole is located 88 miles to the north, and Rock Springs is 110 miles to the south.

Two state-of-the-art triple chair lifts provide access to over 25 trails with a variety of slopes from novice to advanced skiers and snowboarders. The Great Spirit lift carries skiers to the top of Fortification Mountain, at an elevation of 9,500 feet . The summit provides spectacular panoramic views of the Wind River Mountains, the Bridger Wilderness, 11-mile long Fremont Lake, as well as the Wyoming Range, the Gros Ventre Mountains, Teton Peaks, and the Uinta Range of Utah.

White Pine's 12,000 square foot, three-story base lodge is open to the public. The log post and beam building features the White Pine Grill, where families can enjoy fabulous food and drink. Ticket sales, restrooms, and the Ski School are also located in the White Pine Lodge. The White Pine Pub and Conference Room is available for apres ski, meetings and receptions. Enjoy lunch on White Pine's fabulous slope-side redwood decks. Even non-skiers can enjoy White Pine Grill and the great view of the mountain from the warm lodge.

Ski and snowboard rentals are available at the White Pine Ski & Sports Shop located in Level I of the White Pine Day Lodge. This makes it very convenient for skiers to rent equipment and get out on the slopes quickly right from the Lodge. The Lodge Ski Shop has double the inventory and carries skis, snowboards, boots, goggles, hats, mittens, ski waxes and more. We also have high tech, state-of-the-art tuning equipment for skis and snowboards. Equipment Rental is also available at Two Rivers Emporium at 211 West Pine in Pinedale. This downtown ski shop is open 7 days a week, 8 am to 6 pm. The trained staff will assist you with your rental or repair needs.

Group skiing and snowboarding lessons are available daily at White Pine. The Max Lundberg Ski School offers group and private lessons for alpine skiers, snowboard enthusiasts and nordic skiers. We also offer mountain explorer and junior racing programs for children ages 6 to 12. Specialty clinics can be custom tailored to suit your group

Lift tickets and season ski passes can be purchased on the ski hill at the White Pine Day Lodge.
